Welcome to St. Raphael Catholic Church

Welcome to St. Raphael Church! We are a Roman Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, serving Catholics in the Goleta Valley since 1896. The Angel Raphael brought healing to all he encountered.  May Raphael carry God's spiritual healing to this community and your soul.  We are a welcoming Catholic community called by God to live out the message of Christ in love and service to all people. Email us at office@straphaelsb.org.

Our Parish is dependent upon the weekly offering and regular contributions from our parishioners. These gifts allow us to continue our ministry and the ability to maintain our staff. We would be very grateful for your continued financial support at this time.

You may mail in your weekly offerings to the Parish; drop in the mail slot near the Rectory door, or transition to online giving.

Thank you for your continued generosity!

By now most have heard news about Churches re-opening. The Archbishop has issued guidelines for Parishes to begin work on a written plan for phased re-opening. These guidelines require us to take much into consideration for the safety and well being of our entire community. We are strategizing, working on obtaining necessary supplies, and discerning the best means to outline and implement our plan. At this time we do not have a date when St. Raphael Church will open, but we are working hard to make this  happen. We appreciate your continued patience, positivity, and prayers. The guidelines require us to check many boxes and obtain supplies which are not readily available. Once our outline is complete and supplies are on hand, we can submit it to the Bishop’s Office for approval. We will continue to keep you all updated on our progress and share what will be expected of our parishioners to return to the Church. Here is a video message on the matter, from our Pastor, Msgr. Jon Majarucon: here
