Welcome to St. Raphael Catholic Church

Welcome to St. Raphael Church! We are a Roman Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, serving Catholics in the Goleta Valley since 1896. The Angel Raphael brought healing to all he encountered.  May Raphael carry God's spiritual healing to this community and your soul.  We are a welcoming Catholic community called by God to live out the message of Christ in love and service to all people. Deacon Wayne Rascati

Ordained June 10, 1995

It is with sadness that we announce, Deacon Wayne Rascati went home to his eternal resting place on November 14, 2019. He served the Church and this Parish Community in multiple capacities, including: as an Ordained Clergy member and as part of the Clerical and Administrative staff. We are grateful for his faithfulness and many years of devotion. His presence will be missed. May we continue to be inspired by his dedication to love and serve the Lord. Our prayers are with his family and all who loved him. May he rest in peace, wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus.
